pickWhat fun! I will definitely be reading more of this historical fiction cozy series! Frances is an awesome character, bucking the norms of her time. She‘s recently widowed and decides to move and live independently, but it doesn‘t take long for her to get embroiled in a mystery, and the culprit may be one of her younger sister‘s suitors.

pickStarted this Series for 2024's #SeasonalCozies so I picked final book for February #ThematicCozies Prompt Romance.
All in all, I enjoyed this series. Quick reads. I do wish there'd been a bit of Romance between Torie and Detective Mallard.
While there were several mentions of Easter Scavenger Hunt, it doesn't appear author is continuing series. Which is fine. Juniper's continued provoking of Det D was getting old.

so-soFinished this month's #ThematicCozies @JulieClair Most cozies have some romantic element, and when I googled this (romance + cozy mystery) it came up, but ... it wasn't super romantic-y. Compared to others I have loved! Oh well. The book itself was a bit obnoxious, but it might have been geared to a younger audience into influencers - a #NotForMe pick.

pickThis was such a good cozy mystery with the beginnings of a romance between Clara Harrington, newly arrived in the village of Picklemarsh, and Felicity Abbot, local councillor. Clara and her Aunt investigate the death of their neighbor who collapses face first into his dessert.
But I can‘t recommend this book fully!! Why?? Because you‘ll want to know what happens next, and there don‘t seem to be any more books in the series!!
