Even if we could set aside the rampant disinformation influencing the current regime‘s justification for ripping the guts out of federal government agencies (which is a very big “if” to take into account), it just doesn‘t make sense to do it the way they‘re doing it. As we‘ve already seen, they fired people they really shouldn‘t have fired.

#BookedInTime and #WhatTheDickens I am struggling to catch up due to some new meds. I had hoped to post questions for both groups this weekend and I think I may have to switch to next weekend as I adjust to the medication. Apologies.
so-soI fell into the hype with this. Mostly it‘s what I already knew: find common ground, make connections with people rather than talking “at” them, practice active listening.
I think I mistakenly assumed this would help me crawl out of my introvert shell, but no book is likely to work that miracle! Not a bad book, and definitely one many people should read to help to understand each other better. We need more of that these days.
...make a mistake once in a while, it humanizes them. It makes them more real, which makes them more likeable.

After freaking out...I'd likely focus on the arts. Share the three main responsibilities of being an artist/storyteller, the power of color, the impact of inspiration through notable history...of course, that's if I can find my voice 😂.
