I am not too sure how I would choose to implement this into my classroom, but I do know that I would keep it in my classroom library for students to peruse at their leisure or would use it for a group read aloud with my students.

The book Town Mouse Country Mouse by Jan Brett is in the traditional literature genre. The colorful and lush greenery of the illustrations bring the story to life as if the two mouse couples were leaping off of the page. The book tells the story of the two couples that want to escape their everyday lives and whisk off to a getaway in the opposite mouses lives either the country or the town.

"I am the dog. I like the light. / I run and jump and bark and bite."

This book can be used to discuss point of view and character traits. Teachers can encourage students to write poems from the perspective of different animals or even inanimate objects.

In this delightful collection, Hall presents two distinct voices: one from a dog and the other from a cat. The poems capture their personalities and their contrasting perspectives on life, making this a fun read for children.

It‘s been a long time since I‘ve been on. A lot has gone on for the past year and I‘m hoping I will be on more consistently.
In the past year I‘ve gone through 3 different chemo regimens including a clinical trial that unfortunately didn‘t work for me and my new oncologist pulled me off trial. I‘m now on a different treatment plan and prayerfully I‘ll have some results from testing for a more targeted treatment.
