Hey all!!!
It‘s been a long time since I‘ve been on. A lot has gone on for the past year and I‘m hoping I will be on more consistently.
In the past year I‘ve gone through 3 different chemo regimens including a clinical trial that unfortunately didn‘t work for me and my new oncologist pulled me off trial. I‘m now on a different treatment plan and prayerfully I‘ll have some results from testing for a more targeted treatment.
I‘ve missed Litsy!!!!

Another board book I read to my month old baby in the wee hours of the morning. Beautifully simple, with contrasting concepts and rhymes accompanied by gorgeous illustrations of animals from around the world. There's a note in the back detailing what each species is called and about conservation.

@laurenashley had a great idea to #introduceyourself so I‘m playing along. Hi, I‘m Rachel. I‘m a detective in Arkansas and work crimes against children/sex crimes/major crime. I‘m also polyamorous. I‘ve been with my husband for eight years and we have been with our girlfriend for almost a year. We have a beautiful 3 year old. When I‘m not working, I‘m reading as much as my family will let me. I adore audiobooks.

This picture book has large spread pictures of very colorful and interesting animals. The prose are lyrical and simple. Definitely eye catching but somewhat lacking in the story.

1. I want to read different genre books (I get hung up on romance and self help)
2. I've started writing on medium as Mom's Musing. 3. My favourite thing about #Nov is orange sunset/sunrise and #Thanksgiving (with shopping of course)
