The beginning chapters and the last chapters were excellent. My interest wavered in the middle, but I am still glad I listened to this.

I couldn‘t get into this one. It was interesting but felt like a history book and not a story.

Don Lemon is a gorgeous man! In each chapter, he discusses our current political hellscape and the religious woes infused with it. In this administration, each publish feels outdated because things are unraveling so fast. The author talks about what loving your country versus being a nationalist means, and speaks heavily about faith and empathy in action versus Christian Nationalism. Whether you are a religious person or not, this is an⬇️

4⭐️ I quite liked this book. Very introspective and informative. There were a number of things I liked about the book; would like to purchase a paperback copy when it comes out. And he mentions what he intended to say in regards to the Nikki Haley comment that lead to his firing #2024 #memoir #religion #nonfiction #politics

My uncle gave me a copy of this book last Easter and this morning called to check up on my progress with it. Known as one of the biggest readers in the family, I promised to actually read it before this Easter so I can return it to him. Admittedly, this isn‘t the sort of book I would pick up on my own, but I love my family and am interested to discuss this at the end of the month and see what are the points that have stuck with him the most.

Saw this recommended a bunch. Engaging and pretty solid.

I'm still reeling.

All Christ-followers should read this book.

The last 3 chapters were interesting. But this did not live up to 4 decades of being told this was a fabulous must read.
