4.5⭐️ I can‘t remember where I first heard about this book but I am so glad that I did. I haven‘t read this author before, but it probably won‘t be the last, as I really enjoyed the story. I found the tempo to be quite quick and even though there were three different characters, the storylines were never really compromised by switching pov‘s. #2024 #fiction #historicalfiction #wwii #londonblitz

4⭐️ I really enjoyed the book and definitely lived up to the hype of the book. If there was one complaint it was that the book seemed a little rushed at the end. #2024 #fiction #canadian #indiginous #contemporary #historicalfiction

3.25⭐️ I thought it was a decent read, but definitely not a favourite. I am trying to expand the scope of the books I read and this is part of that experiment. #2024 #bookreview #romance #fiction #contemporary #summerreads

I feel like I liked the general outline of this book more than actual story. The audio was performed really well. #14 #2024 🎧

This book 👌 I thought the story was just ok. The characters though.. wow! They are so intriguing, all completely flawed and have so many redeeming qualities. #13 #2024

3.5⭐️ Was a #bookclub selection for May that I was unable to get to, but managed to read it now and I really enjoyed it. It has some dark elements to the story, but I thought it was quite good and glad that I was able to read it. #2024 #contemporary #fiction #bookreview

4.5⭐️ It was a very fascinating read, which was very in-depth about how American evangelicals are becoming more and more extreme and not in a good way. What‘s really important is that the author travels to the various places around the US that are highlighted. Highly recommended. #2024 #nonfiction #bookreview #christianity #evangelicals
