3.5⭐️ Not the biggest fan of the book; the story was pretty good, but the interruptions with the mathematical formulas was off-putting. #2024 #fiction #bookclub #contemporary

4⭐️ While I really enjoyed the first book in the series, I just didn‘t get that same buzz as I did with The Housemaid. I still really enjoyed the book. #2024 #thriller #suspense #fiction

4⭐️ I quite liked this book. Very introspective and informative. There were a number of things I liked about the book; would like to purchase a paperback copy when it comes out. And he mentions what he intended to say in regards to the Nikki Haley comment that lead to his firing #2024 #memoir #religion #nonfiction #politics

I was finally able to fill one of the more difficult #52bookclub categories, “Author debut in second half of 2024.“ I've read a number of novels by Andrew Pyper, but this is his debut under the pseudonym Mason Coile.

This short novel is a spooky haunted house story featuring AI “monsters“. I didn't enjoy it as much as the other Pyper works I've read, but as it was set on Hallowe'en day, it was a good one to read this week.

4⭐️ I vaguely remember reading this book back when I was younger but I remember abandoning it because I didn‘t really understand what was going on. Reading it now, I thought that it was a really well-written story and that it probably was a little too much over my head at the time when I was younger. I liked how well the author developed the characters and the story. #2024 #bookreview #fiction #historicalfiction #middlegrade #newberymedal

3.5⭐️ Found this to be a pretty good romance novel. I really liked the setting of PEI (been there and I would like to go back again) and the characters felt like they could have existed. Did feel that it lagged a bit in the middle of the book. #2024 #bookreview #romance #canadian #pei #contempoary #fiction

4/5⭐️ Compared to what I have been reading, this was a nice break from what I usually read. It‘s more romance than mystery, but overall it‘s a good read. #2024 #bookreview #cozyromance #cozymystery #fiction #dreamharborseries #contemporary
