It was a cute series, but by this book, I was tired of the repetition of simple information and the supposedly cute quirks of the aim character. She's not an investigator, and even when she just falls into information, she seems proud of having found it. #17-2025

pickA simple cozy murder mystery. The novel is set in a campground in Normal, Kentucky. The characters are “cutesy” and not very complex. I read this in a bit less than five hours. Readers who enjoy cozy mysteries, will find it an easy read. 3/5
I had been planning some cosy reading this morning but the beautiful sun was just too tempting for us. Really enjoying the tagged book which mentions this beach.
Today I started my first book of the year (after finishing up some December reads). I‘m excited to see what the year ahead brings, sorting out my TBR into one place has reminded me how many books I can‘t wait to read! The tagged book is set 15 minutes down the road from my house. I do love a book set somewhere I know 🏠

pickThe Knife Before Christmas is a festive whodunit with tons of good holiday feels. I had a delightful time in Lighthouse Cove with genuine and engaging characters who loved Christmas just as much as I do.
