Finished. Fair warning, this is not for the faint of heart. Atmospheric and creepy. It gets very, very dark. Some parts I read with bated breath, and many times I was tempted to chuck it away in disgust, but curiosity made me persevere. That pull was what changed my rating from "so-so" to "pick," but you have been warned. #mystery #creepyread #darktale

Seen the movie. Watched the show. At last, I've read the book. All the accolades are well deserved. A disturbing and satisfying horror classic. If someone out there is still looking for a #spooktober #creepyread, pick this up.
