I‘ve loved every novel we‘ve read so far in the #ShardlakeBR. So, on my last trip to London, where my daughter now lives, I just had to visit a few of the places where Matthew Shardlake spent his time, including Chancery Lane (where his home was supposedly located), Clifford‘s Inn (one of the Inns of Court), and the Old Bailey prison.

The Women: A Novel | Kristin Hannah

I borrowed this book from the library and I waited for months to get it. But now I‘m not in the right frame of mind to listen to this story. This is not a review of me saying that I bailed. I didn‘t make it very far in this book at all before realizing that I‘m looking for something lighter. I‘m just returning it to the library and I‘ll borrow it again later when I‘m in a different frame of mind. However, if anyone is interested in (cont)⬇️

CatLass007 watching an excellent television show about nurses in Vietnam I highly recommend China Beach. I most certainly am not saying that there‘s only room for one great Vietnam nurse story. I‘m just not in the right frame of mind for any heavy stories at the moment. 2mo

tpixie @CatLass007 Great decision for now it sounds like. This book gave me lots of emotions, and I‘m not generally emotional. Anger, sadness, anxiety, and love and happiness I even called up my son yelling about the book. Go read some fluff!! 2mo
