I wanted to read this before going to see the film, "Detroit," but that probably won't happen since it's 397 pages long. I liked this book but didn't love it. Probably because I'm from Detroit and tend to be hyper critical and sensitive to portrayals of my home city. #detroitinbooks #whataboutbelleisle #detroitmetrotimes
