So I know that dog earring a book isn't the most popular, but you all will forgive me for this one right? I have no idea how this book was cut for this to happen.... Any ideas? #dogear #requiredinthiscase

Lcsmcat I‘ve seen that in older books sometimes. It almost looks as if the paper was folded when the pages were cut, doesn‘t it? 5y

dragondrool I have a paperback copy of The Stand like this. I'm pretty sure it's just that that page was folded in when they chopped it down to make the book's edge, so that it didn't shear off properly.

He used to #dogear his library books until I noticed and explained why it is better to just use bookmarks. Of course he usually loses then, hence the improved bookmark in a pinch.
