This book was absolutely hilarious! I laughed out loud so many times. If you like film references, simultaneously embracing and bashing Hallmark Christmas movies, and a irritation-to-easy friends-to-star crossed lovers facing an seemingly impossible situation (not world-ending stakes) that makes use of many a Rom-Com trope, then you will enjoy this book!
This is third in a sibling trilogy, and although they can be read alone, I recommend reading them in order.

Daniel Black put into words the weight black men and women carry, the burden to conform to strict gender roles, and the fear that is felt when someone steps outside of those roles. He also shows the hope for freedom from this burden and fear. #blitsy #lgbtq #queer #family #epistolary
There's just something about how Rainbow writes characters that sucks me in. Beth and Jennifer and Lincoln all felt so vibrant and distinct, and I find the whole concept of this book so fun! I also appreciate how seriously she takes her situations, though. #reread #fiction #epistolaryfiction
Definitely enjoyed this epistolary novel set at a POW camp in Minnesota for captured German soldiers during WWII. looking forward to library book discussion.
