Idk why all I found today was fantasy novels with bad covers (except for the seer and the sword) but - I‘m now also experiencing some regret over not buying this as well (it was only .50c) it‘s book two and I‘m out of shelf space (I keep telling myself that - and it did work today since I didn‘t buy any books)

I know l'm one day late, but just came across this great quote on Instagram (@that.writing.thing) and had to share!

Saint Valentine was a clergyman – either a priest or a bishop – in the Roman Empire who ministered to persecuted Christians. Christianity practiced an inclusivity not found in the social caste system of the Roman empire and was therefore perceived by its opponents as a "disruptive and, most significantly, a competitive menace to the traditional class/gender based order of Roman society". I haven‘t figured out who the artist is, but I am tickled pink by this depiction of Saint Valentine. In addition to lovers and happy marriages, St V is also a patron of beekeepers and plagues. Raw honey, besides being sweet, is an antibacterial and can be used to seal and treat small wounds. #honey #valentine

#WrappedReading tonight was shared with friends. Thank you Aunt Stephanie for being the guest reader for our #BookOpening. The Great Christmas Tree Celebration included lots of flaps and hidden ornaments throughout as well as a hide and seek. Year 4, night 2.
