#SurvivingDecember When I say this book makes me lose time, I absolutely mean it. The audio narration is 50 hours long, and I can sit for hours listening to Linda Stevens perfectly emulate the Georgian drawl. I'd be lying if I told y'all that #forgotyouhavetobake wasn't a real issue with this book XD

JenlovesJT47 Makes me want to listen to the audiobook again! I own the audiobook, kindle version, paperback and a 1961 edition. 😳 if I ever see a copy at the used bookstore I have to get it! Have you been to any of the museums? I've been to 3 different ones in Georgia plus the Margaret Mitchell house. #obsessedmuch 😬 6y

I love reading short story collections when I'm baked because my attention span can't handle anything longer. Otherwise I just end up reading the same sentence over and over for an hour.

Kaye Well DARN. I thought I was already a domestic goddess. I am lucky to have a husband who says “Good Supper” every night, whether I make Turkey dinner with all the trimmings or Beanie-Weenies with a side of Ho-Hos for dessert. 6y

Undomestic Goddess

Kaye I used to do a lot more cooking when the family was all still home. I baked a lot and made bigger dinners. Now that it‘s just the 2 of us I don‘t make as much. I had no idea how to cook when we got married Betty Crocker was my daily companion. My husband gained 100 lbs the first year we were married 😮 @JulesG (edited) 6y
