My Day In the Park | Marta Orzel
post image

This is a lovely seek/find and gazing book. Full of labels, it reminded me of Richard Scary, but in a nonfiction sense. Great for building vocabulary. It's translated from French, and I've seen it in Spanish. You could spend a lot of time visiting this book. #gazingbooks

Pigeon and Cat | Edward Hemingway

This dedication really got me. Almost a #gazingbooks Wonderfully illustrated, it's about being a stray and keeping it that way until love comes unexpectedly and unconditionally. The author/illustrator is the youngest grandson of Ernest, which is trivial but interesting. A #weallbelongbook

My son is a very reluctant reader. He would never prompt me to read to him but yesterday he saw this one in a box I was packing and brought it to me for us to read together 🥹 🐻 ⛄️

Ruthiella Sweet! 😃 2y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick It looks delightful! I can't fault him for wanting to read it. 😆 2y
mandarchy You might encourage Ispy type books and just let him browse. I use the hashtag #gazingbooks when I review books that depend on rich illustrations. He might like books like that. 2y

Beautifully illustrated magical tale about wild animals taking over a carnival in the night. Almost completely wordless, except the illustrations include several text-opportunities. #gazingbooks

Not just a cute story about throwing a tantrum, going for a stroller ride and taking a nap, this book is also a #gazingbooks. The illustrations are rich and intricate, loaded with text opportunities in English and Spanish. The artwork is reminiscent of Keith Haring.

Suet624 wow. you could get lost in that photo. 2y
mandarchy @Suet624 that's half the end paper. It's really a fun read, but the illustrations are amazing 2y

Just added this to our library and read it #outloud to a class as a bonus book. It's a fun #gazingbooks as Frank tries to hide the animals. Lots of puns too.

It Could Be Worse | EINAT. TSARFATI

Einat Tsarfati may be my new favorite #gazingbooks creator. Her books are translated from Hebrew and she lives in Israel. It Could Be Worse takes the reader on an impossibly funny misadventure. Not for the 💩 shy.
