pickThis was even better than I thought it would be! I've seen so many adaptations of A Christmas Carol that I just sort of assumed I'd read it at some point but this definitely felt like a first time read. I enjoyed the humor, which was a surprise. I also really enjoyed getting more into the root of Scrooge's obsession with wealth which is something none of the films really take on - it's a search for security that fuels the desire...👇
