The_Heeler_Booklife @Jules7 I had the arc from Netgalley, but I thought audiobook would be faster to me. When I looked through the audiobook I noticed all the conversations do not have quotes around them. 😬 7y

Grist Mill Road | Christopher J. Yates

Trying to reward myself with my favorite combo of snacks, chocolate and popcorn! This school week has been rough you guys, but I did find a new favorite essayist in my World Lit class—Henry David Thoreau. His philosophies reminded me a lot of the book Stranger in the Woods and I appreciate that (solitude nature-bunny here 🙋🏾‍♀️).

Update on #gristmillroad: This isn‘t a bad psych-thriller! It‘s violent, strange, and has wonderful writing.
