Ubookquitous Truth. This year I did read 75 book I already owned by Dec 2016, but I still bought new books.... 6y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @dariazeoli I think it‘s a universal book lovers problem. I joined #MountTBR on Goodreads this year and picked what I thought was a modest mountain level, and I‘m barely going to eek it out, barely, and some of it with comics I already owned, so I really had to stretch just to hold myself to that. It‘s tough, the library is a big problem for me in that area too, I tend to read their books before my own too. 6y

Ubookquitous @Riveted_Reader_Melissa I did #mountTBR as well, but I started at 48 then managed to go two more mountains. And I think net, I bought fewer books than I read for once. 6y
TommieMarie74 This is definitely one of the main symptoms of being a book lover. We just can‘t resist the pretty pile of new books waiting to be read. Or should I shelves. My bf asks me “are you done for a while now?” when I get a new stack. I just laugh. He doesn‘t understand the pull. #happybookhoarder #neverendingtbr 6y

Riveted_Reader_Melissa @Ubookquitous It‘s the first year I‘ve kept real track of my buying, so I‘m not sure if I bought less or not... but I do think I‘ve made a better effort to read the ones I bought this year, in this year, so they don‘t become a huge unread pile, so that‘s a big plus for me. 6y
