so-so*sigh* this reread isn't going well. This was my favorite book because of time travel and the Marauders, but very glad I read these as a kid because these earlier books are not very good. I see so many missed opportunities and plot holes.. I may keep seeing them, especially because the very end of the series is NOT how I wanted it, so idk. Ice already put Goblet of Fire on hold, but it'll probably be weeks. #harrypotterreread
Godpants The last time I reread them I still found joy in experiencing a world that I loved so much. Definitely the first books are not great, but I think there are still merits! 5y
OrangeMooseReads I agree there are huge plot holes and lost opportunities in this series. I‘m attempting an audio reread now and no they don‘t hold up as well but I still love the series. 5y
night_shift @Godpants @OrangeMooseReads it does still have it's merits and I'm enjoying the audio reread but if this was my first time reading it, I probably wouldn't continue, you know? It does make me want to work on my fanfic lol (but i have too much else I'm working on) 5y
