1. Dexter is my 2.5 year old pom. He is a cuddle bug, likes to dress up, ride in the car (he has a booster seat on our center console) and loves to be wherever we are.
2. Both. During Vet tech school I read lots of case studies, animal behavior books and vet med text books. I also used to have a huge collection of Berenstain Bears books when I was little.

4 ⭐ This book had a nice cadence; it‘s a nice idea and a great story. The kids are trying to get the parents to eat more fruits and vegetables. This goes exactly as one would expect, but it‘s nice for the kids to be begging the parents to eat something new. The illustrations are fun and go with the book. This book is written by the author of Go the F*** to sleep and Camila Alvarez, who is the wife of Matthew McConaughey.

LibrarianRyan I‘m assuming that her wife status is in her bio because people might not know who she is otherwise. But this isn‘t bad for a celebrity author book. I could see this being loved at storytime and for years to come. 10mo

I recently discovered Gina‘s books and website—I was enjoying so much that I bought 3 of the books! I love the fact that they are healthy and contain nutritional info. This panna cotta was supposed to use raspberry but we wanted to try passion fruit. Delicious!

Tamra @tpixie my daughter doesn‘t like very spicy food, so I only put in a teaspoon. But the rest of us added hot sauce to our bowls. So I would say it depends on how spicy you want it. 😊 I also made other closely related substitutions based on what we had, including a half can of fire roasted tomatoes. 2y

I love everything in this book from the variety of recipes to the layout and pictures to the tidbits scattered throughout for recipe variations, substitution options, and generally making cooking easier. There's something in here for everyone.

The illustrations are great. Kids will appreciate the representation. I can't decide if I hated the rhyming because it's truly awful or I'm just sick of it. I would not want to read this book outloud to my kids. Some of it is truly disgusting, and the kids will either laugh or be disgusted like me.
