OMG! I loved book 1 but this one blew my mind. I enjoyed immersing further in the world and learning about the different species and characters. I need more! #Hudson
My bingo board is actually looking pretty good. I have until May 31 to finish. I‘m reading the current book right now for a prompt that will give me a bingo. I also have 2 other books in orogrsss going towards this board. Any recommendations for some of the prompts I haven‘t done yet. #bookbingo #readingchallenge #recommendationsplease
A quick update on my #nonfiction2020 bingo card. Counting this as "something about the environment" as the writer was a conservationist who talked about the countryside and how it had deteriorated even in the 1800s.
I was referred to this book as James Rebank wrote a book of a very similar title and mentioned that this book by Hudson was an inspiration for him.
This book was a revelation to me. It captures the English countryside in the 1800's / 1900's. Hudson was also a conservationist so there were a lot of thoughts about the environment as well as the rights of the labourers and people who live in the villages.

This is book #12 from my #bookspin pile. I bought it on a whim and it has been in my TBR pile for the longest time. 😂😂
Here is to reading it this February. Looking at the cover now I may be able to include this for #booked2020 for #animaloncover and maybe for some #nonfiction2020 prompt.
