⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This historical fiction was very intriguing. It‘s a dual timeline between the Virginia Reeve trial and the all women Arctic expedition of 1853.

Oops, I‘m a little late posting my #bookspinbingo list. Here are my twenty
Oh my! What a way to start off 2022! I don‘t know how I only just read this one! I‘m so overwhelmed with emotion that I have no words. Just absolutely stunning!
Happy 2022! Sorry, I‘ve been MIA posting for a while. 2021 had many ups and downs. Work and life stress took a toll and continues. BUT I‘ve made a new year resolution to myself to always make time in my day for me time! No exceptions! So here is my wrap up for 2021. I still read many amazing books with the tagged book winning my book of the year! Cheers to amazing 2022!
I really enjoyed this story and felt the same magical coming of age story as The Secret Garden. Sarah Crewe is such a wonderful symbol of strength and kindness. Even as she is thinks she has lost everything and is made into a maid, she perseveres over the abusive power and never loses her childhood imagination and hope. For her to continue to give to others, even has she has so little herself, is such a beautiful show of genuine humanity.
⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was just okay for me. I liked the storyline of the forbidden romance with the mystery of Tyler‘s past. Tyler is who kept me engaged in the story to find out his story. Unfortunately the story was slow, which makes me wonder about the next 2 books in the series. I also didn‘t like Eden‘s views on her body image. It just felt unnecessary. I felt like every teenage issue was tried to be pushed into the story and was a bit overkill.
Swoon! I loved this story just as much as the Netflix show but in its own right. The scandal, stolen glances, and the devotions of love. Every minute was amazing! Now I need to watch the show again 😉 #doublespin #bookspinbingo

4 ⭐️ I really enjoyed the fresh twist on Romeo and Juliette! Rekindling of forbidden first love, ruthless gangs, monsters and madness. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is that the story started out slow and felt a bit drawn out, but ended amazingly. Now looking back I can understand why the beginning was slow with how in-depth the world was created and the different POVs. #doublespin #bookspinbingo
#latepost Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday at the beginning of the week. It was a great day followed by a crazy week at work. Thanks @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I absolutely love my gift and am excited to dive in. 🥰
Absolutely amazing! I love a story that has me so emotionally invested. I enjoyed following both Selina and Alice‘s stories. Both timelines were engaging and beautifully written. All of the characters were perfect. The world was so well captured that I felt apart of the story.
I enjoyed this one. I really liked how the story came together and how everyone connected. I didn‘t like how the beginning seemed to be completely different stories from the different times until they started to connect. I‘m glad I didn‘t give up on the book because of the disconnect in the beginning.
This started off slow, but I'm so glad I kept reading. Mexican Gothic was very enjoyable read. It was fresh and new.
Oh Tate James, I love how her stories pull me in and consume me! Just amazing! Sry can‘t write more have book 2 to read 😉 #bookspinbingo Dec 1/20 #TeamReadNosedReindeer #Wintergames2020
#doublespin completed 11/9.
I absolutely loved this first book of the series. The idea of love being a disease was interesting.
This was so witty and laugh out loud entertaining! I feel this is every book lovers inner monologue. I also now have many more books to add to be TBR. Definitely a great read after a month of fantasy and suspense. November 3/20 #bookspinbingo
This conclusion was everything I had hoped it would be. It was action filled with steamy moments. I loved how just when I thought I had the ending figured out, a twist appeared and blew me away with an OMG ending. I can‘t wait to read more in this world that the author created. November 2/20 #bookspinbingo
Just Amazing!! This was so raw, powerful, and thought provoking. Dita‘s story was told in such an authentic and heartbreaking way that was full of emotions, harsh truths, and incredibly captivating. In addition to the holocaust setting, there was an air of innocence that reflects on the things I feel we take for granted everyday. Overall a beautifully written story. November 1/20 #bookspinbingo
Happy Halloween #teamharkness
Oh what a month it‘s been! I had a lot of fun participating in #Scarathon2020 with #team Harkness. Here is the final week‘s points:

Ahh! I‘m loving this series! Persephone is growing into a strong bada** and Hades is swoon worthy. Starting book 3 now. I need to know how their story ends. 🤞🏼Go Persephone!!

Finished #teamharkness buddy read last night.
This deserves so many more stars than just five. This story was set up so well and the character development was awesome. If the other books in the series are as good as this first one, then this will definitely be added to my favorite series list with Matthew Clairmont on my ever growing book boyfriend list. This fed my twilight craving as an adult.

“All this time, all those years alone in New York, and someone, somewhere, loved me this much. And I never knew.”
Oh my! I loved this different take on Hades and Persephone‘s relationship. This felt so fresh and I can‘t wait to continue on. I just got to know what happened in the past and what will the future hold. October 10/20. #bookspinbingo #Scarathon2020 #teamharkness
4.5 stars. I‘m loving reading through Jane Austen‘s novels. Northanger Abby was a very enjoyable. I absolutely love Catherine and her view of the world and life. I only didn‘t give it a 5 because I was waiting for more, especially with Henry at the end. I feel their reunion was rushed and can we please get an Austen wedding. October 9/20 #bookspinbingo #bookspin #teamharkness #scarathon2020
Oh my! Book 2 did not disappoint. I absolutely love Natalie & Jax! The story kept my attention so much that I didn‘t want to put it down. Sofia Adair‘s writing is so intriguing and her character development is amazing to where you feel you know them. Can‘t wait for more of this series! I need to know what happens!
Thank you Sofia Adair for the eARC in exchange for an honest review!
#bookspinbingo #scarathon2020 #teamharkness
MIND BLOWN!! I‘m so not quite sure what just happened! I enjoyed this story and then the plot twist climax was OMG! I was not expecting that ending. As I think back through the story, I see so many clues that connect to the ending. This was such fresh writing that I‘m excited to see more from the author. October 7/20 #bookspinbingo #scarathon2020 #teamharkness
Make It Work by Sofia Adair
Holy Moley!! That was steamy! And that ending!! Adair had me drawn in from the beginning. The story was new and fresh with lots of steamy moments. Jax and Natalie are drawn to each other in a way that you can‘t help but root for them. Overall very thought provoking and engaging for the reader.
The author, Sofia Adair, provided me with a free copy for an honest review.

I feel exhausted after finishing this first one in the series. The beginning was intriguing, the middle began to lose me, and the ending pulled me back in. I enjoyed following the characters on each of their journeys but at times it got really wordy. Not sure if I‘m going to read on yet. On one hand I want to know what happens but on the other, I‘m not sure I want to tackle another massive book. October 5/20
Magic Unleashed (book 3) This was such a great series with this last book being my favorite. An easy fun read with a strong witch heroine and a hott bad boy vampire. Yes please! October 4/20 #bookspinbingo #Scarathon2020 #teamharkness
I was very intrigued with this book made entirely of lists and the synopsis seemed interesting. However, the story did not meet my expectations. 90% of Dan‘s lists were pointless. The lists got really old quick and just turned irritating. Dan as a character was a spineless idiot, who I just hate. ⬇️
I absolutely loved Fanny! The drama was on point throughout the entire story. Jane Austen is becoming one of my favorite authors. Her writing is amazing from her characters to the places. October 2/20 #bookspinbingo #teamharkness #scarathon
Magic Redeemed (book2) I‘m really enjoying this kindle series. It‘s fresh and easy to ready. I love Killian and Hazel‘s relationship. I‘m hoping for more in the 3rd story. Finally October 1/20 #bookspinbingo #teamharkness #scarathon
It‘s open day!! #litsylovefallswap this is one of the best swaps I have ever received! 🙌🏼 @CaliforniaCay those coasters are amazing. I‘ve also been wanting to get a book sleeve. Let‘s not forget both Elton John and Jessica Simpson‘s books! Love, Love, Love!!
Goodbye September! Pulled out one more #bookspinbingo today! So proud of my progress this month! I‘ve officially caught up on my goodreads challenge. Ready to take on #Scarathon2020 with #teamharkness
Another amazing historical fiction by Martha Hall Kelly. I absolute loved her first book Lilac Girls and lost Roses didn‘t disappoint. Martha‘s writing is beautiful. I felt as if I was living through the events and emotions with the characters. Sept 17/20 #bookspinbingo
I love historical fictions, but unfortunately this one fell flat for me. I actually almost DNF‘d it but decided to stick with it since it‘s my #bookspin . I was expecting spies, espionage, and romance. Though there was some romance, it was uneventful and frankly irritating. Rosalind was suppose to be this big scientist, but her skills were never utilized. This story had so much potential, I‘m saddened by the let down. Sept 16/20 #bookspinbingo
#bookspinbingo list ready for my card! Excited to also be participating in my first #Scarathon2020 with #TeamHarkness
A great beginning to the series. This was an easy and enjoyable read. I love Killian and Hazel‘s relationship. Their hilarious banter with the hint of growing attraction! Bring on book 2, I‘m ready to see more of the Drakes, magic, wizard houses, and maybe some growing romance. Sept 15/20 #bookspinbingo
Yay! Bingo number 2 complete!!🎉

I was very pleasantly surprised with this story. Owens‘ writing is just beautiful and very easy to read. The story has so many heartfelt moments that I could not help, but ache and root for Kya. I loved how Kya never let life get her down and she persevered. But, OMG, that ending! I really wasn‘t expecting that! Highly recommend!! Sept 14/20 #bookspinbingo
@CaliforniaCay Happy Mail is on its way! Sry forgot to take a picture of the box! #litsylovefallswap
