pickI first stumbled upon Chanel Miller by reading a lot of tweets about the injustice of her rapists trial. Later, I read her then anonymous letter that went viral. Now, I finally got to read her whole story and I recommend it wholeheartedly. It not only offers a detailed look into the whole process, but it‘s also amazingly written. I hope Chanel Miller will write more in the future!

bailedThis book is well written and the narrative is told very conversationally. It‘s really not the book. It‘s 100% me. I just can‘t bring myself to read past the first 3 chapters. Maybe if I‘d just say down and read the whole thing I would have been fine. Maybe at a different time I could take on this book. At this point, I just can‘t continue with this book.
I just finished the first three chapters of this for tomorrow‘s discussion. I seriously may have over extended myself with this month‘s read alongs, but both of the NF are so good.
