Happy Independent Bookstore Day to all of you!! I‘ve decided to take my own advice and not feel bad about bailing on a book. Midnight Library just wasn‘t doing it for me 🤷‍♀️ I‘m off to enjoy a 6th dating anniversary dinner with my equally bookish hubby, and then probably spend the rest of the evening with one of these books. But which one? 🤔

Moonprismpower Huh I didn‘t realize it was independent bookstore day. I totally visited the local one I love and spent a ton of moneys though! Now I‘m extra glad I did! 3y

smalldogs_bigbooks2419 @Moonprismpower I usually make myself choose one book to buy at a time. Sometimes I even make myself wait until I have no unread books on my shelf. Today I decided to make an exception to both of those “rules”. I bought two new books after counting at least 12 on my shelf at home that I actually do want to read. Not one bit sorry!! 3y

I totally forgot my fun stickers and washi tape, and I only have the plain flag stamps, but I‘m getting these #litsyletters in the mail today because it takes so gosh darn long to mail from here to there! 😆

wanderinglynn @ju.ca.no Once it reaches the U.S., it goes to Chicago, then comes to Okinawa. From the U.S. to Oki is anywhere between 7-14 days. So maybe another week or so on top of that? I‘m going to start using the Japanese postal service for my letters to the E.U. & UK. It should be faster. I just had to figure out my Japanese address first. 😉 so the next letter you get from me will include my Japanese address. (edited) 4y
