pickIt was an exhausting read, but I couldn‘t quite let it go. So I read one chapter a day and that allowed me to process the density of the novel and an unfamiliar (to me) history. It‘s particularly wonderful if you‘re interested in Partition, the history of #India and #Pakistan‘s conflict, etc. Altogether, I‘m glad I read it. It‘s an epic for sure. #salmanrushdie #midnightschildren #magicalrealism
