On my morning walk with Wicket, I started listening to The Girl with All the Gifts. Thanks to @swishandflick for the recommendation. I actually encouraged Wicket to let his walk go a little longer today, a sure sign that I‘m really enjoying this audiobook. Finty Williams does an excellent job reading this book, giving it a dark fairy tale quality. #MikeCarey #TheHungryPlague

pickI LOVE The Unwritten by Mike Carey and Peter Gross! A literary boy hero come alive in our world. The magic and power of story and words, and layering in references to many classics. I think it will appeal to book lovers, and fans of Cornelia Funke's Inkheat and JK Rowling's Harry Potter. There was a bit of violence at the wnd that I found hard, but overall I loved it and can't wait to dive into other volumes. Highly recommended!
