For me, too much violence and political/strategical detail/talk. Other than those elements it was fast paced and had a satisfying ending.

This is the latest Mitch Rapp adventure from Kyle Mills, and it just may be his best. The president is afraid that Rapp is going to assassinate him, so a truce is brokered. Rapp agrees to leave the US as long as the man is in office, but Rapp soon realizes that the president is not keeping up his end of the bargain. And so begins a game of high stakes cat and mouse with the future of America hanging in the balance. Definitely worth a read!!
⭐⭐⭐? (3.5/5)
Another good action packed novel by Vince Flynn.. it was fun, with a lot of tension (and a lot of characters and names!!!).
This was published in 1999 and I think it was some sort of inspiration for "Olympus Has Fallen" and "Whithe House Down"..
(The italian cover is awful!?)
⭐⭐⭐
Book #2 with the super spy/killer Mitch Rapp.. I really like the main characters but I enjoyed better the first book, this story was a bit slower and a few chapters seemed to be there just for fill in more pages.
I listened the italian audiobook (thanks Audible!) and the narrator was really good 👍🏻🎧
Another excellent book in the Mitch Rapp series, which I always enjoy but now getting onto the books written following Vince Flynn‘s untimely death. This was a different book to others and we saw a different side of our hero and sad news about Stan Hurley 😢
Book 4 finished for #JubilantJuly
Time to get back into one of my favourite series, Tyne Mitch Rapp series. #JubilantJuly
Fast and fun political thriller. First I've read from Kyle Mills who picked up the Mitch Rapp series after Vince Flynn's untimely death. An easy read and Mills manages to incorporate the current U.S. political divisions in a realistic way, showing how even honorable politicians, career government servants, and military personnel can find themselves making morally ambiguous decisions out of a sense of self-preservation.

🎧 I‘ve only read 2 Mitch Rapp novels.
Nicholas Ward is a trillionaire. His scientists are secretly working on a vaccine. There‘s a mole in the government nosing into Ward‘s top secret business & a new president like no other.
Rapp is tasked with protecting Ward. In protecting him he eventually needs to use him as bait to lure the mole out while rescuing the scientists from warlords in the Ugandan jungle.
Action-packed thriller.
