I‘m back to following the exploits of Mitch Rapp. In this tale, Rapp is still trying to nullify the threat posed in The Last Man. The link between the two is quite cleverly fashioned as an unexpected villain provides a worthy adversary for Rapp. With the future of the CIA, and quite possibly America, in the balance, Rapp must traverse the globe trying to staunch the leak of videos by a former rogue agent. If you like action, this is a must read.

I've read all of the Mitch Rapp books by Vince Flynn. When he died, Kyle Mills took over and I wasn't sure what I thought about that. I couldn't tell that this book was by a different author. He did a great job. These books are about politics and the CIA and spying. I like that Mitch is a man who gets things done.

The only bread I'be found I like better is semolina bread. I only discovered it when I moved to my current neighborhood about a year ago. And whenever we have guests or are invited for dinner, everyone insists we bring some or else ?. It's soft but hearty, tough crust, floury & a bit doughy... 8y

The best part of it is that it sops up sauces and gravies and such with ease without getting squishy and losing its texture. It doesn't have seeds or anything fancy. Does that help? 😊 8y

My book's lunch accompaniment: potato chips, Poland Spring Sparkling Lemon Water; and, one of my specialties, the double-crunchy grilled cheese sandwich. What's so special about it? Well, I'm glad you asked. Take some freshly made peasant bread, use creamy Euro-style butter and shredded cheddar on the outside, thick American inside, voila! #MrBookBookBabeKitchen: happy reads & happy eats! 😎👌🏻

MrBook I should add: put the stove on a lower heat, about 1/3 from low and 2/3 from medium. 8y

mauveandrosysky I'm glad to hear that about the syrup! 😂 I'm from a small town in southern NH called Peterborough. I live just outside of Boston currently but I still spend a lot of time in NH — in Peterborough and out on the seacoast (Rye and Portsmouth) in the summer. I love New England so so much. I love the mid-section of the state too though: Jackson, Conway, Berlin, the Kancamagus Highway. But with her art, my writing, and the shop, we feel being within Boston's and Manchester's orbit would be best. 8y

mauveandrosysky @MrBook Portsmouth is the place to be! It's a cool little city on its own, plus you're on the seacoast (right near great beaches), you have Boston about 1 hour and 20 away and Portland, ME (another amazing city) about 1 hour. Big, big fan of Portsmouth. 😀👌🏻 8y

Audrey Re the maple syrup. They may not kick you out but give you extra points for staying true to deliciousness. Also, kittery, the town proper is a mile over the bridge from Portsmouth. I frequent go there bc the best butcher is in town. 8y
