Spent 1/2 the day with some of my co-workers to hit up the monthly craft & gift fair by my house & grab lunch. More social than I like for Saturday after a long week-but I did get to buy my favorite radish cakes & a couple of other choices from the dim sum table. Now I‘m at home, couching it for the night with my dim sum dinner, chapters 21-29 for tomorrow‘s #sundaybuddyread discussion & probably a movie & some ice cream later. #mysaturdaynight 🤗

I have that many new books I'm having severe indecision choosing one to read, hence going back to an oldie but goodie to kickstart my bookbrain @Vinjii The ice cream itself was fabulous, on the fence about the corn nuts though (taste like hard popcorn🙅🏼) 8y
Ellsbeth That is a great and loved copy of Jordan's tale. I fizzled out in the midst of waiting for the series to be completed and got really bummed when he passed. I finally completed my set recently and I plan on a re-read/finally complete the series read soon! His writing is so good. 8y
Lizpixie @Ellsbeth I love the series as a whole, I was buying the books as he wrote them from the start but I kept having the premonition/feeling he wouldn't finish it himself, and then he passed before the last 4 were written😢 While he left behind notes & plans on the last books, they are nowhere near as good, and for me, didn't finish the series the way it deserved to be finished. That's my opinion though, it may not be yours. Enjoy with an open mind✌️ 8y
