This book is amazing- a horrifying look into the systems, processes and sheer rapacious greed that created the opioid epidemic and what can be done about it. Required reading for anyone.

Well, it looks like I‘m going to be in back-to-back trials for the next 4 weeks, including a First Degree Murder with a Firearm case. So I‘m getting some chill time in while I still can. On to this book that has been raved about on here. #NonFictionLove

Reading about the events leading up to the dissolution of the USSR is fascinating. This whole book has been an eye-opener, but the recent history even more so, as I was just a kid when this stuff was happening. #nonfictionlove

I'm also counting this as my #death entry, as the number of deaths during the Soviet era is literally incomprehensible to me.

I love anything dealing with the Romanovs. In high school, I wrote a paper about Rasputin and I read all 800 pages of this book just for the 200 pages that talked about him. #NonfictionLove #17BookLove

Well-ReadNeck Is it just me or does Nicholas resemble Leonardo deCaprio? 7y
Reviewsbylola I had a period where I was obsessed with reading about the Romanovs. This was one of my favorites. 7y
Reviewsbylola I can totally see that. @Well-ReadNeck 7y

This one was so much fun. I think it's when I realized how much I was missing without nonfiction in my life.
