My first vacation read! #vacationreads
Absolutely adorable! #cozyfantasy
The best kind of impulse buy!
I loved the themes of choice and opportunity, memory, guilt and accountability. How do our choices impact others, and what is the cost to ourselves?
She has no opinion on the book but I really like the direction this series is going in. Definitely glad I kept on with the series.

Series can lag in the fourth book, but this book was better than the last. Looking forward to the next one.
1. Peach iced tea or a gin and tonic
2. Outside if the Canadian weather cooperates 😊😂

And anyone can play 😊
Excellent and should be required reading for every Canadian.

The werewolves are more believable than the heroine. So sunshiny that a roofieing and attempted gang rape isn‘t enough to dim her shine, but it let him be a hero and show what a great guy he is so 🤷🏻♀️.
Counting the minutes until I start my vacation. Can‘t wait to start this mystery. It‘s using the same premise as And Then There Were None.
Yeah I‘m not so sure how Victorian style porn comes across on audiobook and the cat and mouse tension of the first book is not coming across in this one. 😐
Can‘t wait for my workday to be done!
Been a long while since I posted. Glad to be back. 🌸
Thought provoking and, oddly, calming me by calling to our shared non-consumable humanity.
Second in the series and better than the first. Loved every minute of it!

So excited to start this series! She‘s my fav from the books. 😊

Interesting and reasonably written, with an protagonist that isn‘t so much whiny but as chronically indecisive, and rather annoyingly expecting certainty from everyone else.
#scifi
New audiobook...the main complaint seems to be that the protagonist is whiny but that isn‘t coming across as strongly in the audio version.

I love nerding out on culinary history.

Not really for the home cook...
I loved this book. Warm, loving and honest. She‘s privileged no doubt but extends it in warm spiritual hospitality. I felt like I was sitting at that table with her.

Fantasy and tragedy mix with a sense of place so strong it‘s another character. Have to say I didn‘t love the very flawed protagonist but then you‘re not supposed to.

The best book I‘ve read in years, unflinching and gut wrenching. It covers sexual abuse, hope, the terror of love walking in the world, the violence that we transfer to those we love the most and sheer agony of surviving and trying to thrive in a white world that is bent on your destruction. You can pick a word or theme and follow that thread, reread and do it again and again.

I thought dreamed up this book. But it‘s real and has stuck with me for 25ish years. I really liked the combo of feminist commentary and chronicle of the tween books from the 80‘s and I can‘t believe how many of them I read 😂. The angst, the agony!

An interesting murder mystery set space with underlying themes of revenge, humanity and the value of a human life.

I liked the structure - small essays in each language. This book is funny, interesting and informative and I liked dipping in and out instead of reading each essay one after the other.

I love this series. My absolute favourite of the year. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great short story collection. Can‘t help but love the sociopath protagonist. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
