Another fantastic horror read. Genuinely chilling. I would call this the Exorcist mixed with Lord of the Flies. Very dark, scary and gory - note children and some animals are harmed in this book. Great for this month, but also would be a great winter scary read. 5⭐️
Engrossing. Kate heads to Laurel Ridge to try to understand why her brother killed himself. She feels the local police didn‘t properly look into the matter. The few answers she digs up only leads to more questions and this small town definitely holds some secrets (some obvious). But, she begins to cooperate with the Police Chief (or vice versa) to solve their questions.
“…you can‘t prevent people from making bad decisions. No matter how much you care.”
A diverse group of past and present and young and old gather for a special winter session of quilt camp, to make quilts for Project Linus.
