I think the cover should read “Her Many Lives” instead of “A Life” because this book shows that she was not someone content to stay within the boundaries of expectations. She was a Vogue model, a muse, a photographer, a war correspondent; over and over she reinvented herself and pursued her desires. An interesting look at a complex but important figure. #24in2024
