Picked this one for my #bookedkntime and really enjoyed. Whilst there are some quite chunky assumptions made that put it firmly in the fiction bucket it was also very interesting and grounded in well researched detaill and the characters and political intrigue intriguing! 📸 a thebian temple

The 2nd book in the Egyptian Royals series was as great as the 1st book. In this book, the life of Nefertari, Nefertiti's niece is followed, from her perspective. Trying to live up to her aunt's legacy, and all that it comes with. The author's attention to detail and description of the Egyptian culture is fantastic.

Immediately jumping into the 2nd book in the Egyptian Royals series. So far I'm loving this series 🤓🌻

I am so entranced by these historical fictions. I feel like I have be transported through time to this era of mystic and intrigue.

Moran has done it again. Historical fact mixed with fantastic story-telling brings Ancient Egypt to life. Nefertari is a character you instantly love; headstrong, smart, talented & caring. Ramesses II is painted in a new light, a young king with much to learn but also a man in love. Moran writes beautifully & manages to mix accurate historical fact & description with a well-paced plot full of politics & secrets. This is a 5 🌟 book

It is a wet miserable start to the day so delving into the heat of Egypt. Moran has written another great book where she has mixed story telling with historical fact. Loving this story, will Nefertari be able to get all of Egypt to see beyond her ancestors misdeeds.

Staying in Egypt for my next read. I really enjoyed Nefertiti so I have high hopes for this book. It is also the perfect lead up to my trip to the Tutankhamun exhibition at the end of the month
