First Quarter Romance #ReadingBracket2025
The majority of my reads in March were romance, so it was tough to narrow down. But these two I read for the #TransRightsReadathon and really enjoyed them both. The tagged is moving on as my favorite for the quarter. (The bonus pick is The Dandelion and the Thistle btw, it's hard to read so tiny)

First Quarter Fiction #ReadingBracket2025
This was a tough decision. I had to sit with the finalists for a bit to decide what went on. Ultimately I decided on this cozy fantasy, which was like a warm hug in book form.

CSeydel That‘s a cool bracket template! Did you make it? 🤩 10h
CSeydel Oh nvm - I found where you credited @MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm ! Thanks!! 10h

Whoops! Late to post my (nonfic heavy) #ReadingBracket2025.

Aimee Nezhukumatathil will *always* end up on the board whenever she‘s got a book to enter into the fray.

Titles written below (for those of us who struggle with tiny print):

Jan: The Witching Year by Diana Helmuth
Feb: Moominland Midwinter by Tove Jansson
Mar: Bite by Bite by Aimee Nezhukumatathil

Wild: Giving Up the Ghost by Hilary Mantel 🏆
Wild: Eight Bears by Gloria Dickie

CSeydel Very nice! 1d
Amiable Yay for nonfiction! 😀 1d

The tagged book was my favorite read of March.

I think I liked it more than A Fire in the Sky.

Read some good books in March - but The Instrumentalist by Harriet Constable takes top spot for the month. I knew nothing about this book as it was a gift so definitely a nice surprise!

Note: Not my template - off Pinterest.

Pickpick

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book was PHENOMENAL! It was packed with backstory, lore, character development, comedy, and tragedy. I can‘t even say much more other than the fact that I LOVED IT. The definition of a 5-star book in my opinion. March was actually a huge reading slump for me, and I didn‘t even get through this book until today (apr 2). But this book would‘ve been my pick for #readingbracket2025 even if it wasn‘t the only book I read that month.

Very behind on my #ReadingBracket2025

As much as I love Assassin's Apprentice, I went with SVSSS as my favourite because of how much joy it brought me

No wild cards yet. I think I'm going to leave them until Jun/Dec and pick a book that has stuck with me, made an impact etc but maybe wasn't my favourite that month

flying_monkeys I think I‘m gonna do the same thing with my wild cards too. 1w

Actually read quite a lot this month, even with work dominating my days. "Gentle" was my favorite read this month. I just find that a very timely read. I also added "The Will of the Many" as a wild card. That is not my type of genre normally, but I really got into it and will be reading the next in the series that comes our later this month. #ReadingBracket2025 @CSeydel
