Tough questions:
🍁Not be able to taste. Maybe I would lose weight.
🍁Neither
🍁Change the past
🍁Both but the love of my life if I had to choose
🍁Summer but really autumn
🍁 Neither

Book #14 of 2024: “Snow in April” by Rosamunde Pilcher
I fell in love with Pilcher‘s writing in high school and this short little fiction was a reminder of why. Wholesome and old-fashioned, full of evocative imagery and sweet sentiments, I recommend this author to everyone ❤️

My #YearInBooks - Worst Read.
How do I decide what my Least Favorite/ Worst is? It's the book that sticks with me. The one that has me ranting at Books & Brews Club. And this year I'm pained to say it's The Rosamunde Pilcher short story.
I had just finished rereading September and I was in the mood for more, so I picked this.

Read 5 with summer in the title, saved 5 for next summer. #BuzzWord #Summerinthetitle #TBR
This has been my least favorite Rosamunde Pilcher. They're always a bit dated but usually a comfort read.
Main Character is just way to whiny and weak. The mysterious surgery for women's issues that if it doesn't work will have to have Hysterectomy. Plus the ‘If I can‘t give you a child, I can‘t give you anything.‘ storyline wasn't my thing.

I thought I had read every Pilcher back in the day but I don‘t remember this one. And back in the day is 20+ years ago so it may be a memory issue. 🤷🏻♀️
I have been missing reading her books. Oh how I wish she had written more. She‘s my got to writer when I need something gentle and real. I love the women she wrote. I always feel closer to my mother (she‘s been gone 15years), when I read Rosamunde Pilcher.
