Not a fan 😕
So far, one of my least favorites in the series, BUT it was still entertaining!!
I started this series years ago, and got lost in another along the way. I‘m picking back up where I left off, and it isn‘t disappointing! Love Sandman Slim!
Yet another fantastic outing from Kadrey‘s Sandman Slim series. This being the penultimate book, I cannot wait to see how Kadrey ends his run with James Stark.
Aaargh, cliffhangers! I am liking the Sandman Slim books better later on in the series than I did to begin with. In this, SS is engaged by his boss to find a missing child and also engaged by an angel to find out what ‘black milk‘ is, a substance that is causing havoc in heaven. And, lo, the two cases are linked. This was a little less gritty than usual, and I say I like the grittiness of this series but maybe, deep down, I really don‘t.
Probably my second favourite Sandman Slim novel so far. Quite a few reviewers on Goodreads said they liked it the least because it felt rushed; I like my books to be fast-paced because I get bored if it's not going somewhere, so maybe that's why I like it so much. I don't like arbitrary dialogue, which it did suffer from in places. Next book will start a new series!
Another Sandman Slim book. Kadrey's series is pretty good, very gritty and bleak. Not a bad series but I'm getting a bit tired of the books, wondering where it's all going, if anywhere.
Stark fights zombies. Enough said. Kadrey awesomeness.
Catching up on my Sandman Slim... Love the humor 🤗
