This book is a selection of short stories that take place in between the numbered books in the series. Daisy and Hazel are my favorite mg detectives and I enjoyed these mini mysteries as well as their tips on how to be a detective.
A high school near where I live just changed their mascot, and sadly it was quite a controversial issue. I think I'll put this book in some free little libraries in the area. 😏😏😏

pickBought at a second hand shop on a whim. Did not expect to find it so poignant and charming.
Yes - the children were a little precocious for their age... but this book captured the innocence of youth.
I loved loved loved boarding school books, and this was the best, full of memorable situations and details. The Ice Cream cone costumes! The bunk beds! I can't be too sorry Nordstrom didn't write anything else, since she edited so many classic children's books.

I LOVED Kit Pearson when I was a kid, and I know I read this one a couple times (I was a big re-reader) but I don't remember much beyond its boarding school setting. @Karisimo
