All of my Libby app holds are gone! I had 9 books on hold and now they are not there. Has that ever happened to anyone? I‘m taking this harder than I should😂

brittanybooks Ooh not cool, Libby! Not cool!!!! 2y
DrexEdit 😳😳😳😱 2y
Hooked_on_books In all likelihood, this is a glitch and they aren‘t actually gone. They should be attached to your library card, and thus safe. I suggest deleting and redownloading the app, and when you add your card back, they should be there. A caveat to this is that if you have any wishlists, they may get permanently deleted when you do this, so note them down first so you can rebuild them. 2y

Lissa00 @Hooked_on_books That didn‘t work, but it might be a glitch. Hopefully they‘ll be back tomorrow🤞 2y
Hooked_on_books I hope so. I‘ve had problems with the app before, and it was several hours before it was resolved, one time around 12 hours. I panicked the entire time. But it all came back, so hopefully yours does, too. 🤞🏼 2y
sprainedbrain I would be freaking out! I hope they show up again. 😬 2y
mdemanatee I haven‘t but I would be taking it hard too. Hope it resolves! 2y
Soubhiville I‘ve had similar issues, but it always updated itself just fine. 2y
Suet624 Yeah. I have. It sucks. 2y
Bookwormjillk Ugh, I hope they come back! 2y

I have read 4 books so far in 2020, all of them involving 1 catastrophe or another:
Full Rip 9.0--earthquakes
Midnight in Chernobyl--nuclear accident
Wave--tsunami
the 2020 Commission Report on the North Korean Nuclear Attacks--nuclear war

I need some lighter reading.

BarbaraBB I can imagine! You must be exhausted 😩 4y
Crazeedi Wow, you are brave! 4y
Hooked_on_books Wow, heavy start. You need a comedy! 4y
Suet624 Wow! Impressive! 4y

Pickpick

Our most recent #litereads week has come to an end, as we've finished The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas by Ursula K. Le Guin. This sci fi utopian story is a deep philosophical look into the scapegoating of a child. You can read my full review in the link below. Drop a comment to share your thoughts on this story.
