so-so40/150 Detailed history of the conflicts between the Persian Empire and the Greek city states, although it was a bit dry. I don't understand the book's title, since Sparta played a small part in the overall battles. The Battle of Thermopylae, where 300 Spartans fought Xerxes and the overwhelming Persian army is the highlight. The narration by Bronson Pinchot was excellent. 3 ⭐⭐⭐
