pickBook one of the Torn Up series and related to the Ashes and Embers series I am currently working on. It can be read as a stand alone. I was very drawn to these characters even the minor ones. There was so much depth and the story totally absorbed me. 5⭐️

so-soThis lost me when there tried to be some deeper meaning in this story. That felt unbelievable, I couldn't believe in all those big emotions after one sex weekend. Well they had known each other longer but it still wasn't believable.

so-soThe basic idea behind this story was so absurd and disgusting: not just the age gap but that someone would go to the door of her ex fiancé's father immediately after the break up. I still liked the ending and how Shane treated her.

pickI didn‘t love this as much as Praise, but it was still really good! Great mental health representation! I love that these books have a little plot and depth. There‘s lots of smut, but it still manages to explore lots of controversial topics and taboos. I‘m excited for the next one because ya know… Drake 😍
