Warning: proceed with caution! No, for real. This isn‘t even the darkest thing I‘ve ever read, and I was very confused about my feelings. I wanted some dark horror romances this Halloween, and I‘m gonna say this one didn‘t disappoint. But it had me questioning my own sanity a couple times. I‘m not gonna say don‘t read it, because I‘m gonna read number two. Just check your trigger warnings, please. 3.6⭐️
From the get go Olivia and Malachi couldn‘t be more different when it comes to superficial looks and likings. Where she‘s all fluffy unicorns and rainbows, he‘s all gloomy, dark mystery and sadness. Overall I enjoyed this dark somewhat pitch black book where dubious choices were made and characters tried to redeem themselves into becoming better people for others. Yet screwdrivers will never ever be looked at the same again.

My favorite book for the week ending March 31st was Eyes On Me by Sara Cate.

Enjoyed the second installment of the Salacious Players Club series. I liked the characters and the plot worked for me. I also liked that it a bit taboo and the abg gap. 3.5🌟

Low pick. Because I did enjoy this for the most part while reading it. But it was all smut and no plot. I mean there was a lot of thoughts about god and bible quotes, but he was horny AF. I wouldn‘t have picked this up without the new #readingsmut podcast. I would read another book by this author but probably not another priest romance. I did like the difference of getting the male POV the whole time.
