Mehso-so

This is a novel that is so far fetched that it can be very hard to believe and follow. That said, you really connect with some of the characters like Oly and Chick. Or at least worry for them. It's hard to really describe but if you take the Isle of Misfit toys and give them a manipulative leader and a reality TV show then you're almost there.

@leslieseidel it will be coming your way soon!

Jillybeane I read this in high school and liked it. I‘m not sure how it would hold up reading it as an adult. 6y
Whimsical.Curiosity @Jillybeane it wasn't a bad read, it was just a tough one for me. 6y
britt_brooke Definitely one of the weirdest books I‘ve ever read. I rated it “so-so” as well. 6y

And now I'm off to watch the movie! #booktomovie
Agatha Christie is definitely an amazing writer with a gift for mysteries. I enjoyed this book quite a lot. It had great characters, a solid plot and a well executed mystery with lots of murders! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This book was a magical rollercoaster of ups, downs and barrel rolls. It is so whimsically written that you can almost get lost. I dearly loved the symbolism and underlying meaning of everything. Being a lover of whimsy and magic this book hit me in the fantastical feels. I hope @leslieseidel loves it as much as I did! On it's way to you ✉️📬 #lmpbc #teamk @thebluestocking @Ingerella Now to watch an interesting film version from 1983...

Ingerella I'm both reading and listening to And Then There Were None. I wanted to check out the audio because it's narrated by Dan Stevens from Downton Abbey! I should finish it pretty quick! Being on vacation is a big help too. I anticipate mailing it early next week. 6y
Whimsical.Curiosity @Ingerella check you out!! That's wonderful! Are you enjoying it? 6y
Ingerella Yes! I am! How's yours coming along? 6y

Whimsical.Curiosity @Ingerella it's going well. I should be done and ready to mail soon. Bradbury's writing style is the most unique I think I've ever read. I didn't think about also listening to it. Thats a great idea! 6y
thebluestocking Mine‘s coming along. I hope to finish this weekend! 6y
leslieseidel Just reconnecting on Litsy after a wonderful Thanksgiving trip to family in Maryland. I am finished and sending off today! 6y
