4/5⭐ Very comprehensive. Every recipe starts with a brief description of the dish or often of the author's experience with those particular ingredients, solidifying her expertise & bringing a wonderful personal spin. The book is peppered with interesting facts, historical tidbits, & alternative methods. My only two criticisms are that some of the tidbits are overlaid with graphics, making them difficult to read, & the lack of recipe photos.

Lots of yummy ideas in this one. Lists where fresh is best or where frozen can be used instead. Greats ways to add more vegetable dishes to your meals.

We got a pumpkin in our CSA box and with upcoming travel, I figured I should get it into the freezer. So I roasted it and then after pureeing, it was frozen. I figure I‘ll make ravioli with it sometime this winter.

Help, please 🙏 I have heaps of #ebook #cookbooks as well as e-magazines, digital comics, & other illustration heavy ebooks. Which ereader do you recommend for storing & viewing those? Previously, I've used my tablet or phone with kindle app but the size of the files limits how many i can have at the ready. I'd love a designated reader for cookbooks especially. What do you use and love?? I'm stateside and would like to shop for one 😊 thanks!

I know most of us are here for literary exploits. But good reference books are amazing. When we moved to the country two years ago I started gardening more as part of my “get off my arse” program. If y‘all want to grow a vegetable garden, this is a great place to start for helpful information for novice gardeners. He‘s got a book on container gardening, too, if you‘re short on space. #yardfoodistgsbestfood #eatyourveggies

I love to cook potato dishes and use a surgical mask for the white Yukon gold mashed potatoes, so I don‘t like the smell of mashed potatoes and the critics would like it.
