One Green Apple | Eve Bunting

My favorite bookstores are Green Apple in San Francisco (top left) and Powell's in Portland (top right). The Last Bookstore (bottom left) in Los Angeles and Strand Bookstore (bottom right) NYC are on my bucket list. I have fantasties about a family road trip to specifically visit weird landmarks (world's largest thermometer, etc) and bookstores 😊📚 #vivabookstore

mrp27 The Last Bookstore is fantastic. It has a very dystopian meets steampunk feel to it as its housed in an old bank and a portion of the second floor is devoted to local artisans. I'm a little sad though as over the last couple of years it has shifted towards a more conventional book store in terms of its set up and content. Of course The Strand is paradise, I miss it. 6y

mrp27 It's still a very cool book store and worth a visit. I was born and raised in Southern California but I lived in NY for 10 years and I've been traveling back and forth for the last 25 years, I consider NY home. 6y

GatheringBooks love green apple too! i‘ve been to LA‘s last bookstore as well and it is as lovely as everyone says it is. with a whole area just for bargain books. 6y

Subterranean Books in St. Louis is one of my favorite bookstores. Maybe it‘s the dog that greets you there! I actually spend way more time at Barnes and Noble but this place is just special! And congratulations again!!!

vivastory I stumbled across Subterranean after having lunch at Fitz's back in October. I was really impressed & could have easily spent a lot more money had I not already been to Left Bank Books. 😄 Still, I found a signed Donald Ray Pollock. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in St Louis 6y

My favourite bookstore remains my old haunt, Librairie Pantoute in Québec City. I spent most of my adolescence and meager income there and continue to support it even if I live 6 hours away.

Maiden of Inverness | Arnette Lamb

If I had to choose my favorite bookstore I would go with Leakey‘s in Inverness. A used bookstore with a fireplace, I have been twice and spent hours browsing the shelves for treasures.
