Mother‘s Day/birthday books from the husband and kids. I‘m so spoiled.

I really enjoyed this mild thriller. You almost want to have respect for the antagonist because she is so good at being evil.

I enjoyed The Cutting Season more, but Bluebird Bluebird is a great read. Attica Locke seems to embody the settings of both books (Louisiana and Texas) like a local.
