The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is a wonderfully curious book told from the perspective of Christopher Boone, an English teen on the Autism Spectrum. Christopher's story is one full of mystery and self discovery that can only be properly told through his unique point of view.

I finished reading Rumble Fish in about an hour. I'm not in love with this book, but I don't hate it either. This book moves rather slow, but it's still an interesting story & I've found that it has quite the interesting message about blindly idolizing your heros or those important to you. If you've read The Outsiders, there are some references that show that both are set in Tulsa around the same time period, but nothing more than that.

Dallas Winston really is just a scared boy, isn't he? Absolutely terrified, even after all of his years on the streets in New York. He clearly cares about Johnny; I know everyone treats Johnny as the kid brother of the gang but Dally gets very worked up over Johnny's well being throughout the book. He is the one who rides to the hospital with him, & Johnny's passing did lead to Dally's in a somewhat indirect manor. #theoutsiders #dallaswinston

Laura tells her story so honestly; I found myself drawn to her and her story in so many ways that I couldn't even begin to imagine. A must read for any teenage anarchists like me.

This is such a lovely book. Trevor tells various stories from his life in ways that are so incredibly compelling that you can't stop reading. The stories do jump back and forth in time, which did get a bit confusing at times but really that didn't affect my enjoyment of the books.
