Chapter book with no pictures so most likely can‘t be used in young classrooms. Great story though that gives a child‘s eye view of a terrifying time in the 20th century history.

All went downhill during the Cultural Revolution where she would have to make a decision of testifying against her father.

2002, biography. Story about one of americas greatest singers Marian Anderson. She had a historic concert on the steps of the Lincoln memorial. Pages have beautiful pictures with the words on the side. Words are bold and easy to read

Not a text I would use with early childhood students. Very informational though and the pictures that are included bring you back to the times when Lincoln was alive
