Lincoln a Photobiography | 
pickThis Newbery Medal-winning biography captures the warm, appealing and humorous life of one of our presidents, Abraham Lincoln. Nonfiction biography (NF) books are great for students so they can understand the history, but it also captures their attention because the story is about someone! I think this book would be great for a guided reading (GR) so teachers and students can stop and talk about major events in history.
