Just finished this book, and I dont want to add any spoilers in my review, but it was a surprisingly interesting book! It explains in layman's terms how political decisions are mainly affected by geological constraints, which is something I never really had that clearly in my head. At first, I was worried it would be a dry book, but the author does a wonderful job explaining everything in a way it makes it fun! I recommend it for sure!

Verity is indeed a fun read with a twist in the end, but I think all the promotion essentially hurt the book. If you are a fan of the genre and have read enough books, I am sure you can predict the end from the first few chapters. Yet, it is a book I enjoyed, as it kept me reading more and more to see if I was right. Overall a nice, easy read… and I believe I would have better things to say if the expectations weren‘t so high… or is it just me?

Spectacular read! The imagery is vivid and the way it is read on audible... omg it makes you travel to distant lands and different times! Totally recommend, but not for a young audience as it contains some adult content.

So, very nice book.. yet not what I expected at all. I really really appreciate the fact that there were almost no gruesome details; it was one of the reasons that kept me from reading it for so long. And the read was fast paced and realistic, however the ending was a bit disappointing to be honest. Unfortunately I can‘t go I to details without adding spoilers... see for yourself! ;)

Wonderful book, but I had the back luck to be recommended Neverwhere as a sequel to Harry Potter, which of course was not what I expected. It is a magical world, in London, and a group of people who become friends. A true work of fiction.

I, personally, am a huge fan of the author however, this time I have to admit I was rather disappointed. I was under the impression it would be a continuation of the story unravelled by the previous books in the story, I was highly disappointed. I wouldn't have minded about it, if the book didn't spend most of its time recapping events from previous books, making me hope that eventually, something extraordinary would happen, which never did.

Oh my! This book is 5 stars, and if you know me, you know I never give 5 stars!!! Do your self a favor and read it... you will lose track of time, your self and sense of left and right! There is a twist in every turn.. until the very last pages!! A true heir of Agatha Christie!

Sooo, this is not my everyday book.. although I promised to delve deeper into life during 2019. I found the book interesting, but not as much as I hoped it would be. The chapters on AI though really got me thinking about the present and the future, and the hard choices we need to make as a species.

Although written through theory and practice, with details on how to go about things as well as the reasoning behind them, this book did not help me after all. I was hoping for something...more. More humane, more scientific, more child friendly... more.

This book is really sounding interesting, and it would have been if it weren‘t for lack of information. I was really looking forward to a fast paced book, with lots of little information about items around the house. Unfortunately I found it to drag around a few items/materials.
