Do you want a badass historical female? Do you want scheming, secrets and a quiet rebellion? Do you want a woman who does everything around her house while also playing the royal court like a chess game? This book is for you. Read about the kick ass story of Margaret Pole and learn why she is absolutely #goals

Everyone should read this book. Even if you don‘t believe you have codependency issues, I promise that you probably have some codependent habits that are dragging down your life. If your life is shit-all right now, and you don‘t know why, and you want to make it better this book needs to be the next one you pick up.

This book was the first book in awhile that had me pulling my feet back from the edges of the bed so nothing could get me! It‘s wonderfully creepy, and the tension in the book easily translates to the reader! I can‘t wait to read the rest of the series and I am absolutely in love with the cover art.

This book is amazing. It draws you in quickly and it makes it impossible to put this book down until you find out what the truth is. Join Plum on a journey of breaking away from diet culture, the patriarchy and self doubt while also hearing snippets of a revolution for women on a global level. Just like Plum, you will be changed after you read this book. Don‘t hesitate, pick this book up as soon as possible, and devour it.

Can not believe it took me so long to read this book. Not only is it an eye opener, it will absolutely make you depressed at the state of life that many of us have to have to just not live in a cardboard box. It shows us the impact of having profits put before people and sadly shows that, unless we make a huge cultural shift, it will just get worse. Absolutely is a must read.

SassyBookworm Totally agree! This was the required book to read for my college freshman class! (It was a few years ago 🤫) But I still remember it, great book! 6y

Horns: A Novel | Joe Hill

a wonderful look at the human conundrum being caught between good and evil, and how fluid these concepts can be based on our life experiences. It examines the human desire for revenge, truth, and peace and all the costs that these things can be. It all looks at takes stereotypical concepts of good and evil and turns them in a wonderfully different way. If you are curious about the human need for salvation this is a must read.

A definite must ready for true crime lovers. About a lesser known serial killer (at least for me) and the mind journey that comes when you start getting too deep into the subject at hand. Riveting and told from a beautifully personal point of view that makes this true crime novel wonderful to read and what sets it apart from others.

Amazing!! Couldn‘t put it down. A little different from the movie but in a great way. Gets really in depth with the hows and why sadako is a ghost/demon and how she came that way. Goes into better depth about the mother as well!

Holy balls this book is totally worth the hype. The first couple chapters were slow for me but that slow burn was totally worth it in the end! I could not read it fast enough.

This book is a MUST if you love true crime. Mrs. Rowe's writing is addictive I could not put it down! Not only do we get such a different perspective on the serial killer mind but we also get to join her on her own struggle of settling with her past and finding her own voice. Loved it.

The Vampire Lestat | Anne Rice
Mehso-so

Gives a nice look of lestats life and more insight into who he is a person. Can be a slow read at some points.

DelhotJ4 Not so much of a slow read, simply filled with description and romanticism. Anne Rice can take simplistic events such as dressing or walking and show every sensual event surrounding those events. This is a difficult way to read for many people who might just want to get to the next action. But when we allow ourselves into this mindset, so much eroticism opens up to us in every aspect of our days. 6y

I loved this book because I related so much to a little girl that moved around a lot and relied on reading for friendship.

This is a weird book and the last half is basically just a list of fucked up shit to do to people. Not the worst book I've read but definitely a particular vibe.
